These terms govern your use of glengeneral.com and any purchases you make from us. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. They are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

About us

Glen General is operated under ABN 20 606 273 910 from 247 Dendy Street, Brighton East VIC 3187, Australia. References to "we", "us" or "our" mean Glen General.

Pricing and currency

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Shipping is calculated and shown at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but changes don't affect orders already accepted.

Orders and acceptance

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. We accept your order when we send the order confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order — for example where stock is unavailable, where there is an obvious pricing or description error, or where we cannot verify payment. Where we cancel, any amount paid is refunded in full.

Payment

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. We do not store your card details.

Shipping, returns and cancellations

Shipping is covered in our Shipping Policy, returns and refunds in our Refund Policy, and order changes in our Cancellation Policy. Each forms part of these terms.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Product information

We do our best to display product colours, sizes and finishes accurately, but small variations may occur — particularly with handmade items such as ceramics and textiles. These variations are part of the character of the product and are not considered defects.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — including photography, copy, the Glen General name and logo — is owned by Glen General or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute or use it commercially without our written consent.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site to:

• place fraudulent or speculative orders;
• introduce malware, scrape content or attempt to disrupt the site; or
• infringe anyone else's rights.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law (and subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law), our total liability for any claim relating to a product or order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Orders are governed by the version of the terms in effect when the order is placed.
