Refund & Returns Policy

At Glen General we want you to be genuinely happy with what you order. This policy sits alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) — nothing in this policy excludes those rights.

30-day change of mind

We accept returns of unused items in their original condition and packaging within 30 days of delivery. Refunds for change of mind are issued to your original payment method, less any original outbound shipping cost. Return postage is at the customer's expense.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

Under the ACL you are entitled to a refund, replacement or repair if an item:

  • arrives damaged or with a manufacturing fault;
  • is significantly different from its description on this website; or
  • is not the item you ordered.

We will cover all return shipping costs in these cases. Please email hello@glengeneral.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue.

How to start a return

  1. Email hello@glengeneral.com with your order number and the items you wish to return.
  2. We'll reply within one business day with a return authorisation and the return address (Brighton East, VIC).
  3. Pack the items securely. We recommend a tracked service — Glen General is not responsible for items lost in return transit.
  4. Once we receive and inspect the return, your refund is processed within 5 business days. Card refunds typically appear in your account within a further 3–5 business days.

Items we cannot accept

  • Candles that have been burned or unsealed.
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery (unless faulty).
  • Items not in their original condition or missing original packaging.

Sale items

Items purchased on sale are eligible for return only if faulty, damaged or incorrect. Change-of-mind returns on sale items are at our discretion.
